Accessibility statement

 

Disability is a key area of focus for Clayton Utz. The term "disability" is a broad one and includes physical, intellectual, psychiatric, sensory, neurological, physical disfigurement, immunological and learning disabilities.

We also want to improve accessibility and inclusion for our clients and continue to enhance the digital accessibility of our website and mobile apps and aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA level as a minimum. We strive to test pages of the website to maintain accessibility.

Accessibility enhancements include:

• allowing the user to enlarge the text size. This can be helpful to users with visual impairments.
• providing image descriptions and 'true' headings to assist when assistive technologies are used.
• providing transcripts, captioning and audio description for video and audio content on our website.
• offer word versions of compatible PDF documents.

We welcome comments on how to improve the site's accessibility for users with disabilities. We are proud to have registered our second Accessibility & Inclusion Action Plan (DOCX 44.5MB) with the Australian Human Rights Commission. We are a Silver member of the Australian Network on Disability (AND). Our Accessibility & Inclusion Action Plan focuses on seven priority areas and includes a focus on inclusion through recruitment of people with a disability, creating premises that are inclusive, and accessible technology.
